Established and co-directed successful boutique PR agency with colleague Natalie Smith. Range of clients included film and theatre releases, brands such as Stolen Rum and Sans, and individual creatives and start-ups.
2008 - 2010:
Deputy Editor, Escape, Sunday Star-Times.
I began as deputy editor of the Sunday Star-Times lifestyle section in July 2008 and was offered the position while at Sunday magazine.
2006 - 2008:
Editorial Assistant/Feature Writer, Sunday magazine, Sunday Star-Times.
Wrote feature length articles, regular furniture pieces and generated new ideas.
EDUCATION
Auckland University of Technology. Graduate Diploma in Journalism.
Victoria University of Wellington and the University of Auckland. Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Spanish.
SIDE PROJECTS
Co-created homelessness initiative Gimme Shelter with James Crow.
Created strong social media following with @wholeplantkitchen on Instagram.
